I started Garage Door Man in 2004 out of a garage in San Marcos. 30+ years later it's still me on the truck — my brother Ray runs the install crew on bigger jobs, and that's the whole company. We like it that way.
The big chains will send you a "technician" working on commission who'll find $2,000 of problems on a $200 spring job. That's not how I work. I tell you what's wrong, what it costs, and what can wait six months. If you don't need it, I won't sell it to you.

- You call. I answer, or call back within an hour. No phone tree.
- We pick a time. Two-hour window, not "sometime Tuesday."
- I show up. Same day for emergencies (broken springs, door stuck open).
- I diagnose. Tell you what's wrong in plain English with a flat-rate price.
- I fix it. Most jobs done in under two hours.
- You pay. Cash, check, all major cards. No financing pitch.
